The 2013 “Sustainable Development in Sub-Saharan Africa” class departs for Uganda today (May 24th). There will be 22 Drake students and 10 students from Makerere University Business School (Uganda) taking part in the program. While there, they will engage in a variety of experiential learning opportunities, including visiting schools, local NGOs, a rural village, Parliament, among others. They will also be at the groundbreaking for the medical clinic in the village of Kikandwa on June 9. Follow their adventures in Uganda by visiting their blog. They promise to share pictures!
